It was a busy morning for us that flowed surprisingly well. We have recently found that our services flow much smoother if we open with as much focused corporate worship time as we can squeeze in. It helps us all make the transition from a hectic morning.

We opened with No Sweeter Name and Holy and Anointed One.

After a brief welcome, we had several baptisms: three at first service and two at second. This was followed by the ordination of three new Elders.

The message was on employee/employer relationships from Ephesians 6. Sermon audio available here. Sermon notes available here.

After the message, we sang Be the Center during the offering. Then we celebrated communion together. We had six stations throughout the auditorium instead of our usual four. It really helped with traffic flow. Sometimes we take the elements at the same time after everyone has returned to his or her seat. This time, we instructed folks to take the elements whenever they wished.

We sang Lead Me To The Cross during communion and closed with He Reigns (Newsboys).
